YOUR SAFETY IS #1
Living in unsafe neighborhoods is totally unacceptable. You and your families safety is my number 1 priority. Our goal is to make our communities safe and supporting our law enforcement and other community safety advocates in making our neighborhoods better.

PUTTING MONEY BACK IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD
Our goal is to reduce your taxes, fight for high paying jobs, fight for small businesses. I am pro-labor and pro-working class people.

EDUCATION
Tennessee ranks among the bottom in investments in education. We will fight to increase teacher salaries. We will fight to keep local control of education.

HEALTHCARE
Everyone deserves access to quality and affordable healthcare. We will fight to expand Medicaid so more people can see a doctor when they want without breaking the bank. I am also a strong advocate for mental health for our community. We are in a mental health crisis in Tennessee and the lack of access to mental healthcare is unacceptable.

I support responsible gun ownership but believe individuals should be properly licensed and able to safely store their firearm. In the same manner a person must acquire a license to get married or fish, the same should apply to firearms. Proper licensing and storage, promotes safety and accountability.

We must begin to address crime at its roots, emphasizing the importance of proactive measures over reactive ones. If we start within home environments while developing our communities and addressing mental health needs, we will forge a pathway where our neighbors can thrive and our well trained law enforcement can do their jobs effectively.

Fair is fair. I believe in fair and equitable bail reform across the board, ensuring that the system is just and does not disproportionately impact marginalized communities.

We have worked too hard and come too far. I firmly believe that everyone’s voice counts and democracy thrives when it is inclusive. Additionally, I will advocate for the restoration of voting rights to individuals for those who have paid their debt to society.

If our streets aren’t safe, then we aren’t safe. Those who drag race on our city streets should be held accountable. Simultaneously, I will pledge to research designated areas where such activities can be safely organized and monitored, to protect both participants and the public.

Before imposing government overreach, we must allow local leaders an opportunity to serve and be held accountable while ensuring community voices are heard. We must promote policies that reflect the fair opinions of diverse community members, rather than the interests of a select few.
